Breast Augmentation

An operation wherein an implant (silicone gel or saline-filled) is placed behind the natural breasts, and underneath the chest muscles, to increase its size.  This gives the breasts a fuller look in women with small or flat chests and it restores breast shape and volume after breast feeding.

The incision is done in the armpit, around the areola or in the crease under the breasts.

The procedure is safe and there is no evidence that breast implants cause breast cancer or other diseases.
