Sclerotherapy is a simple and popular method to eliminate varicose veins and superficial telangiectasias (spider veins) by injecting a solution called a sclerosing agent into the unsightly vein.

The total number of treatment sessions needed to clear the condition varies from patient to patient.  An average of three to four sessions is usually needed to improve the condition, scheduled at three to four week intervals.
